We are a self-sufficient hotel immersed in the heart of the Amazon, allowing us to offer you a deeply immersive experience connected to nature. However, it is important to consider the unique geographical characteristics of Ecolucerna Lodge, which is an essential part of this authentic adventure.
															LOCATION
Ecolucerna Lodge is located 26 kilometers from the city of Puerto Maldonado, in the Amazon region of southeastern Peru, an area renowned for its biodiversity and natural beauty.
ACCESS METHODS
RIVER ACCESS
Access to the lodge is primarily via river. Once you arrive in Puerto Maldonado, our team will greet you and escort you on a boat trip to Ecolucerna Lodge, where we will check you in on board so your experience begins right from the start. This river trip will allow you to delve into the jungle and enjoy the natural surroundings from the very beginning of your adventure.
LAND ACCESS
If you choose to travel by land from Cusco, the journey to Puerto Maldonado takes approximately 10 hours. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting to take you directly to the pier and transfer you by boat to the lodge, following our scheduled logistics operation.
AIR ACCESS
The fastest way to arrive is by air. From Lima or Cusco, you can take direct flights to Puerto Maldonado’s Padre Aldamiz International Airport (PEM). From there, we will arrange your transfer to begin the river access to Ecolucerna Lodge.
LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION
It is important to note that there is no public transportation to Ecolucerna Lodge. The entire operation depends on our private and scheduled logistics, which allows us to guarantee a safe, organized, and personalized service for each visitor.
