At Ecolucerna Lodge, conservation is not a concept — it is a daily practice. We protect areas of forest dedicated to wildlife monitoring, soil restoration, and the preservation of ancestral knowledge that has guided the Amazon for generations. This ongoing work allows us to maintain healthy, thriving ecosystems.
Our partnership with the Ese Eja community is essential to this mission. As guardians of the territory, they share with us their understanding of plants, natural cycles, and ways of life that can only be learned by walking the rainforest with respect. Together, we ensure that the forest remains a sanctuary for life and a sacred space for those who call it home.
SCIENTIFIC EXPEDITIONS
Biologists, ornithologists and naturalists from different parts of the world have accompanied us in the exploration and study our area in protection near to Tambopata jungle. Thanks to this research, we have documented dozens of species of flora and fauna.
Currently we also are part of an international proyects to address issues like habitat loss, wildlife trafficking, restoring ecosystems and combating illegal resource exploitation and climate change incidents.
