BACKSTORY
THE FIRST STEPS (2006 - 2018)
The founders are natural caregivers of nature and always concerned about the inclusion of vulnerable populations in conservation and ecotourism activity.
The founders began the process of granting green areas in 2006, so their first objective was partially established on the Las Piedras River, located 109 kilometers from Puerto Maldonado. Here the first conservation project of more than 2,300 hectares and impressive hydrological and biological potential was presented.
Getting the contract with the State at the beginning of 2012, but suddenly snatched away 6 months later by the same State, to be later occupied by farmers and groups that did not necessarily meet the same objective, but deforest and use resources in an unsustainable way shape.
An eternal dream in execution
Faithful to the idea, in 2014 they changed their strategy and privately acquired the current space in the buffer zone of the national reserve, adding years later to similar concession processes to the state, spaces for conservation and ecotourism.
A relentless fight that today offers you an unique experiences and history where tourism not only respects the forest, but strengthens it. Since then, each structure has been designed with low-impact criteria, respecting the cycles of the river and using local and sustainable materials.
